Hello, we’re Glowmade! We’re an exciting independent company and the goal of our games is to unlock people’s imagination and help them express themselves in wonderful, fun ways. Right now we’re busy building a new multiplayer cooperative game with an ambitious creative wrapper around it. We can’t say too much, but if you can imagine Jim Henson’s Labyrinth mashed up with Wrestlemania, then you’ll be on the right track!

This is an opportunity for an Outsource Manager (ART), to join us on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract, to play a pivotal role in our Art Production. Reporting to Head of Production, Dee Patel, you will work closely with the production and art teams to ensure that high-quality content and development work is being delivered by multiple stakeholders.

From day one we would like you to:

  • Jump enthusiastically into understanding the ambition of the game
  • Collaborate closely with our Art Lead and Art Director to understand project requirements and to establish and set the project’s asset specifications
  • Work closely with our LiveOps team and our Art Lead to identify the Live Project needs
  • Identify and begin to build relationships with external vendors/partners
  • Create and implement a cohesive pipeline that supports efficient asset delivery, reviews, revisions, and final approvals

In six months you will be:

  • Proactively identifying potential issues or bottlenecks in the outsourcing process and implementing effective solutions to ensure timely delivery and adherence to quality standards
  • Autonomously manage the end-to-end art outsourcing process, including sourcing, onboarding, and maintaining communication with external art studios and individual artists
  • Managing the feedback process, and ensuring the balance between delivery and quality within that process
  • Conducting regular quality and performance evaluations of external partners to ensure adherence to the project requirements
  • Managing the outsource budget

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have excellent communication skills and have experience with negotiating contracts to establish costs and deliverables
  • Have experience in a production or delivery focussed role within a creative industry
  • Have experience working on a Live Service Project

A few more bits:

This is an opportunity for you to make a significant contribution not only to the game but to our team and the company. Everyone at Glowmade has a voice, and it’s important to us that you feel empowered and are given the time and space to use it.

We’re based in Guildford, UK and so we’d really like to have you here with us onsite. We offer competitive wages and we are an actively equal opportunities employer. If all of the above sounds exciting and you think you can fill this pivotal role, please get in touch. No agencies please!
