Finance and Operations Manager
Fi is the marvellous woman who keeps so much more than our finances running. Without her, we’d be several creeks deep and without so much as a splinter of a paddle. A distant memory of a paddle, really. She helps tremendously in overseeing the day to day running of the studio, our mental wellbeing, and helping sleep game devs find the coffee beans when we think we’ve run out! Here’s to you, Fi – we love you!
Hello, Fi, you wonderful thing! What is it you do at Glowmade?
I work in finance and operations so do all I can to keep the business running smoothly whilst the cool guys make the game! Jack of all trades, really.
Now how would your parent describe your job?
Busy.
How did you get to this point in your career?
I qualified as an accountant back in the day and lived the corporate life until I was lucky enough to get this role and actually enjoy being at work!
What made you want to pursue games?
I didn’t – it found me!
Share something you love doing outside of everything video games.
Being outdoors – running, walking, hiking, skiing!
Who or what inspires you?
People who are brave enough to recognise the need for change and put that change into action, like my friend, Catherine!

What are your top tips for someone looking to get into games?
Get some work experience in a studio, that way a potential employer knows you have looked into the job and that it’s really want you want to do.
In your opinion, who is the cutest Glowmade pet?
It has to be Tuna.

Peanut butter, absolutely.
